Clay County Sheriff’s deputies rescued the driver of a pickup truck after his vehicle collided with a train, rolled over and landed in a flooded ditch early today.

The accident happened on County Road 8 near Rustad, Minn., south of Moorhead, said Sheriff Bill Bergquist.

Bergquist did not have information about the identity of the driver or the cause of the accident.

Three sheriff’s deputies rescued the driver, who was trapped in his vehicle after the accident. He was taken to Innovis Hospital in Fargo with unknown injuries.
